ITT Hub News is launching a third podcast series today, following the highly-successful introduction of two series earlier this year.
The third series, with a legal dimension, called The Back View sees Ian Jones, a highly-respected transport lawyer in Britain’s leading transport law firm Backhouse Jones, speaking weekly with key figures in the road transport industry. Ian is a leading member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport’s governing council and Chair of its Suppliers Section.
The new series follows Lunch with Leon hosted by Leon Daniels OBE and CV Focus hosted by Matt Eisenegger. Both brands have become enormously popular over the summer, creating a loyal following.
Mark Griffin CEO, ITT Hub said: “The time is right to accelerate our podcast launches and establish further the existing brands. I’m delighted to have secured Ian Jones as our third podcast presenter. He’s known for his humorous and witty presentations and his ability to translate complex legalise into easy-to-understand English. He is the ‘go-to’ man for all truck, bus and coach operators and highly-regarded by operators and Traffic Commissioners alike.”
Ian Jones commented on his involvement: “I’m most enthusiastic about the industries I represent and want to support in all ways possible. The Back View is a really exciting addition to the ITT Hub podcast line-up, I hope it will become required listening overnight!”
The first episode of The Back View features Jenna Rush MD, North East Coach Travel and Honk for Hope activist. Ian travelled to Cardiff to find out about the issues and the campaign aboard a very hot coach in Chepstow at the latest rally. Jenna has been named the industry’s ‘Angel of the North’ for her untiring dedication to the mission of saving the coach industry.
In the second episode, Ian meets Ben Wakerley from Warrington Transport. Further episodes will be announced over the coming weeks.
ITT Hub News’ podcasts are free and can be subscribed to on any of the usual platforms for all devices.
