Following the inaugural event in June 2021, which saw 4,000 attendees take to Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, ITT Hub continues to spearhead the future of transport as the sector revolutionises the commercial vehicle market in the transition to net zero emissions and strives to reach maximum efficiency.

As ITT Hub’s commercial partnerships, National Grid, WPD and Zenobē will support the event and its communications channels, the ITT Hub Conference and ITT Sessions webinars, in cementing its position as the leading insight and networking platform in the commercial transport industry.

Commenting on the new commercial partnerships, Mark Griffin, from ITT Hub, said: “Since the inception of ITT Hub, we have been aiming to work and partner with the leading experts and organisations within our industry, so we are thrilled to bring onboard National Grid, WPD and Zenobē as commercial partners for our 2022 and 2023 events and activities.

“As a platform, we are continually striving to evolve and strengthen our channels, networking opportunities and industry relationships, so we are excited to have the support of our commercial partners to reach our objectives.”

Steven Meersman Founder Director Zenobē Energy said: “We are glad to be building on our relationship with ITT Hub. Not only will we continue to be the charging partner for another two years, we will also become a commercial sponsor. We share ITT Hub’s mission to enable collaboration across the sector and accelerate transport decarbonisation.”

Graeme Cooper, Head of Future Markets at National Grid added: “ITT Hub 2021 was the first time National Grid was involved in an event like this and it was a brilliant example of the innovation and connections that can be made at a face-to-face forum. National Grid is right at the heart of the energy system and uniquely positioned to help drive the transition to cleaner transport, shaping future infrastructure and connections. We look forward to continuing our involvement as a commercial partner in 2022 and 2023.”

Paul Jewell, System Development Manager at Western Power Distribution said: “WPD is pleased to join with National Grid at this key event.  As the distribution company covering the South West, South Wales and Midlands we want to make sure that our customers can make use of existing network capacity and that we plan and construct additional capacity where it will be used to best effect. We will support our customer’s 2050 Net Zero plans, understanding specific use cases and demands will ensure we provide the right network at the right time.  We are excited to help the transition to Net Zero.  With our colleagues at National Grid we can offer an end to end network solution for customers.”
