Following a successful debut in July 2021, ITT Hub has announced the launch of an intermediate one-day conference on Wednesday 24 November at Farnborough International’s Exhibition and Conference Centre, ahead of its growing 2022 exhibition and programme.
Owned by Farnborough International, the business behind the UK’s most pioneering aviation, aerospace and commercial transport events, the one day conference has been developed to support the growth of ITT Hub by identifying and examining the challenges and opportunities of decarbonising fleets following the significant UN Climate Change Conference, COP26 in Glasgow this November
Organised in association with Logistics UK, the conference will provide fleet operators and suppliers with an opportunity to discuss and develop plans to undertake massive electrification, switch to cleaner fuels and reduce waste as an industry.
Mark Griffin, ITT Hub, said: “As one of the first events after COP26, our day conference will be timely, as the need for the transport sector to discuss and collaborate will be more potent than ever. We will have a line-up of industry speakers who will be sharing the takeaway highlights from COP26 and their impact on the sector. With limited places we urge people to get it in their diary for another face-to-face event to look forward to as part of our commitment to industry collaboration.”
Returning to Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre 11-12 May 2022, ITT Hub will continue to spearhead the future of transport as the commercial vehicle market continues to revolutionise in the transition to net zero. Organisers report an overwhelmingly positive reaction from attendees, with over 60% of the space now taken across the increased indoor and outdoor exhibition area and 50 companies already committed for 2022, including more than 15 vehicle manufacturers.
Driven to provide the industry with relevant insight year-round, ITT Hub has also launched ITT Hub TV, a series of in-depth interviews filmed at ITT Hub with high profile representatives from the transport sector by Peter Plisner, former BBC Midlands Today Transport Correspondent. The series “In Conversation” will be rolled out over the coming months which includes interviews with industry leaders from across the sector.
New companies wishing to take part can commit to joining ITT Hub 2022 from 1 September, with several leading brands and new partnerships ready to confirm their presence over the coming weeks.
